The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by Dr. Alfred Weidinger.

Executed on cream wove paper, laid down on paper, which is in turn laid down on card and floating in the overmount. The sheet is time stained and there are a several scattered foxing marks in places. There are some repaired tears towards the upper left edge, the longest of which is approx. 11cm and a few along the lower extreme edge (approx. 5cm) with an associated spot of paper loss. There are a few nicks and tiny paper losses elsewhere to the extreme edges. There is a horizontal crease across the centre of the work. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
