Signed S. Lépine (lower right)

Oil on canvas

15 by 22 in. (38.1 by 55.9 cm)

The canvas is lined. A few fine lines of craquelure to the right half of the sky. Some minor pigment shrinkage to the green foliage at the foreground. Frame abrasion and some minor associated loss to all four edges. The canvas is slightly dirty. Under UV light: a few minor strokes of inpainting to the extreme upper right corner and the center of the left edge. Some original pigments fluoresce. This work is in overall very good condition.
