Cast in bronze by the Fratelli Barberis Foundry and published by Il Fauno, Turin in 1971 in an edition of 8 plus 2 artist's proofs.
Andrew Strauss and Timothy Baum of the Man Ray Expertise Committee have confirmed the authenticity of this work and that the edition of this work will be included in the Catalogue of Objects & Sculptures of Man Ray, currently in preparation.
Bronze with a gold patina. There is some wear to the patina and surface scratches in places, consistent with age and handling. There is some plaster residue and surface dirt in some of the crevices. This work is in overall good condition.
