The reference 1675 was introduced in 1959 after replacing the original reference 6542 in 1954 and has been in Rolex’s production until 1980. Although the reference 1675 had a very long run, there were many changes and variations made for this reference by Rolex, from dial to bezel and case to bracelet. The present watch is accompanied with one of the last gilt dials that were to be on any 1675 before it was modernized with the matte dial. With a beautifully aged dial along golden like luminous plots, the present watch is furthermore fitted with the period correct broad Pointed Crown Guard case, and a beautifully aged fat font bezel. In impeccable condition for it’s age, the present watch is truly a hidden treasure waiting to be found by a true collector.
