The reference 6239 represents the first Rolex Daytona. During its evolution, there are subtle changes to its design. This example, made in 1971, features a large 'Daytona' signature. The writing for the first time is bigger than in previous models. The bracelet is also stamped for the 1st quarter of 1971 and stamped Rolex USA.
