The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is one of the most iconic chronographs in the history of watchmaking. The present watch reference 6239 was introduced in 1963 and produced until 1976. This particular example known as the “Cherry logo” is a very rare and early iteration of its kind as it features a dial without the word "Oyster", distinctive “Daytona” writing printed in a cherry colour shade and slightly larger subsidiary registers. Accompanied by the correct bezel calibrated to 300 units, the present watch is no doubt a hidden treasure for experienced vintage collector.
