Exceedingly refine and exceptionally complex, the reference 5959 is one of Patek Philippe's most notable split seconds chronograph. Housed in a noble sheen of platinum the mechanical calibre CHR 27-525 PS reveals its sophistication through the sapphire crystal display back, one of the thinnest split seconds column wheel chronograph ever to be built. The dial on the other hand is crafted in black with silvered Breguet numerals, complete with a minute track contrasting in absolute perfection. The black dial variation is extremely rare and more uncommon than its white counterpart.
