The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The perpetual calendar function is working properly. The dial is in excellent overall condition with only very minor blemish to the left of the date indication. The case with light wear which is consistent with the age of the watch and can be seen with the naked eye. The case lines and facets are very crisp and the sides to the case are nice and crisp to the touch. The case back with 2 very prominent hallmarks and with light surface wear throughout. The bracelet is still very nice and flexible and the watch lies nice and flat. Overall an extremely crisp and well preserved example.

Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts.
