The reference 5212 is an interesting development for Patek Philippe, as it was the first iteration of any wristwatches by the firm to introduce the weekly calendar within a Calatrava styled body. Although the weekly calendar is uncommon among wristwatches today, it is a complication that has been proven to be especially useful for businessmen by displaying the current week number in addition to the day and date. Designed with a vintage schematic, the dial of the present watch features a silvery off-white tone and the unique typography was based on the handwriting of one of the watch designers.
In single sealed condition and complete with accessories, the reference 5212 is an unprecedented example from the Calatrava family. A handsome looking wristwatch suitable to be worn on all occasions, this watch will undoubtedly cater to the needs of all wearers.
