To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner, Rolex released a special edition of the watch with a green bezel in 2003. This highly collectible reference 16610LV was produced in several series with slightly different dials and bezel configurations. The present lot is an original example of a 'Mark I Kermit' Submariner, which features the sought-after flat 4 on the bezel and the oval O on the dial.
