Reference 6264, like its sister reference 6262, was available for approximately just over two years. The two were the last Daytona models to be produced with ‘pump’ chronograph pushers. However, they did feature the newer, updated caliber 727 movement with an increased vibrations per hour rate of 21,600 from 18,000. The sole distinguishing feature between the two watches is the acrylic bezel found on the 6264 whereas the 6262 wore a steel bezel. During its short production period, it is believed that less than 1,700 examples of a 6264 in stainless steel were ever made.
