For the 30th anniversary of the iconic Nautilus model, Patek Philippe replaced ref. 3712 by the ref. 5712. In comparison to the time only models it featured additional functions such as the date, the moon phases and a power reserve indication. The asymmetrical dial layout was quickly adopted and became very recognizable.

The present lot is one of the last examples that still carries the Geneva seal on the movement instead of the later Patek Philippe seal introduced by the manufacture in 2009. Complete with Certificate of Origin and presentation case, the present lot has been retained in attractive condition and is an exciting opportunity for any collector to get their hands on a Nautilus which is otherwise very hard to get at retail stores.
