Unveiled in 1991, the Star Wheel collection from Audemars Piguet displays time in a mesmerizing and distinctive way, a true rarity to see from one of the most prestigious Geneva maisons.

Three sapphire discs each printed with 4 hours of the day rotate on a center pinion making up the wandering time complication, which truly needs to be seen in action to be appreciated. It is a complication that is predominantly used by independents who specialize in alternative time displays, and almost never seen used by traditional watch manufacturers, especially those that make up the ‘holy trinity’.
