Recognized by watch collectors to the highest regards, the reference 3939 is a horological marvel that combines the essence of purity with grand complications. Launched in 1993 and in production until 2009, the reference 3939 was offered in yellow, pink and white gold, with the present watch cased in platinum. Over the course of its production, not more than 200 examples of the 3939 were made. The simple beauty of the dial only displays the time only function, however was crafted in enamel and decorated with beautiful Breguet numerals. A notable feature on the dial would be the watch's movement number being printed on the subsidiary second's dial. Turning towards the movement side, the tourbillon carriage showcases proudly under the sapphire crystal display back. It was true Patek Philippe fashion to place the tourbillon on the movement side without obstructing the view of the dial. A sliding piece on the band activates the minute repeater, reporting time in serenity and clarity.
