附帶後補資料庫精粹

The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The chronograph function is working properly. The dial has been cleaned during a servicing. The Breguet numerals are confirmed on the Extract. The case with minor polishing. A crisp hallmark between the crown and bottom pusher is legible. The movement is still retaining its protective dust cap. The case back has been regrained.

Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts. You are advised that watch straps or bands made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator or crocodile) are not sold with the watch and we reserve the right to remove these straps or bands prior to shipping. Furthermore, the watch may not come with its original manufacturers strap or band.

First introduced in the late 1930s, the 1463 Patek Philippe chronograph evolved in terms of case construction and dial configuration until the early 1960s. The present watch manufactured in 1943 is known as the first generation where the lugs are straighter and the bezel is flatter and thicker. What further highlights this vintage sport chronograph are the applied gold Breguet numerals, which according to research, only 13 are known to have been identified on the market.

This Patek Philippe chronograph is a very clean example, having been serviced by the brand, the case has seen minor polishing but still retaining a nice hallmark between the crown and bottom pusher. The dial is very clean and really exemplifies the sought after Breguet numerals.
