Patek Philippe celebrated the 30th anniversary of its famed Nautilus line of sports watches in 2006, and for the occasion bestowed the model with a brand-new complication. The present watch belongs to the first series of the 5980 which was discontinued in 2013. After that year, 5980 production in steel was completely stopped with the watch only produced in two tone or full rose gold.
