The Reference 3900 from the Nautilus family is nicknamed the 'boy-size' for its smaller case. In production for just a short few years from approximately 1984 to 1989, collectors have identified the watch with a wide range of dial and case variations. To the best of our knowledge, about half of those produced were cased in stainless steel. The present watch is an even more rare example with a double signature as it was retailed by Gübelin.
