From the same family as the Gondola reference 5100, a watch that was created by Patek Philippe to celebrate the millennium, the present watch reference 5200 was launched in 2013 to replace it’s predecessor while showcasing their technological progression over the previous decade. Powered by an entirely new movement, the reference 5200 has a newly upgraded caliber which allows both day and date indication to advance simultaneously together when the hands past midnight within three milliseconds, a feature that is only available among the best watches.
With a unique rectangular case accompanied by an amazing black oxidized hands and hour numerals it’s classy appearance represents the pinnacle of modern watchmaking.
