The Collection Privée Cartier Paris, perhaps also more widely known as CPCP, is one of the most highly coveted watch collections from the brand. Introduced from 1998 to 2008, Cartier returned to their roots of fine watchmaking, combining high end watch movements developed by brands such as Piaget and Jaeger-LeCoultre, with their classic watch designs such as the Tank or Santos. Presented here would be the CPCP Tortue reference 2518D, featuring a time only complication with Roman numerals and flame-blued Breguet hands. A recurring theme of the CPCP would be the elegant rose-pattered silvered dial, along with the "Paris" text under the Cartier brand. Cased in the most noble metal, platinum, the present watch houses a finely engraved caliber 437 MC fully exposing its glory through the sapphire crystal display back.
