The dial was skillfully constructed via miniature hand painting, a process of extreme delicacy and difficulty, especially when applied to a smooth surface such as mother-of-pearl in this case which can be seen peeking through the paint at 9 o’clock. Depicted on the dial is a maiden surrounded by large vibrant flowers on a backdrop of the blue sky. The bright colours exude a summer feeling which this watch represents, and the case being made out of white gold pairs well with the dial.
