After patenting their first split-seconds chronograph mechanism in 1902, Patek Philippe quickly established themselves as trailblazers in the watchmaking industry and creators of incomparably precise timepieces. Featuring an elegant 18k yellow gold open-face watch case, a clean white enamel dial, Breguet numerals, and stunning slim blue hands, the piece boasts not only an aesthetic appeal but also a functional one. The dial is inset with two subdials: one with a 30-minute register and another with subsidiary seconds. The chronograph function on the pocket watch is activated by a push button fashionably hidden in the intricately-designed winding crown. Additionally, the dial shows an outer ⅕ seconds track that can be used in accompaniment with the chronograph function. Signed “Patek Philippe & Cie Genève” on the dial, movement, and case, the present watch is an embodiment of the celebrated Patek Philippe duality, boasting both beauty and functionality.
