Patek Philippe introduced the Ref. 5522A along with eight other watches specifically for its New York exhibition, "The Art of Watches Grand Exhibition New York 2017." This model comes in a special limited edition of only 600 pieces, all encased in steel, made exclusively for the firm's 89 retailers in the United States.

The watch features a blueish grey dial with applied Arabic numerals in 18K white gold with luminous coating, and a caliber 324 S automatic time only movement visible through the sapphire exhibition case back.

Reference 5522 is traditionally seen with a brown leather strap and white stitching, however, this example is fitted with a custom designed navy blue exotic strap accented by green stitching to perfectly complement the dial. The present watch was sold by the prestigious retailer in New York, Tiffany & Co., making it highly desirable to the seasoned collector.
