The perpetual calendar and minute repeater are two of the most esteemed complications in mechanical watchmaking. With the first producing a calendar that can track the day, date, month, and year—including leap years—and the second able to sound out the current time down to the minute, you can not only keep time into the next century, but also hear it in the dark. The ability to craft such complex timepieces lies only with the top watch manufacturers in the world, as seen in Patek Philippe’s Reference 5304R Grand Complication.

Composed of 517 individual components, the caliber within the Reference 5304R Grand Complication is a tremendous feat that aligns with the technical prowess displayed by Patek Philippe for close to two centuries. Housed an 18-karat pink gold and white gold case, the minute repeater’s chiming gongs can be observed through an exhibition case back while the perpetual calendar is read from a skeletonized dial which avoids legibility issues through the use of a retrograde date hand and transparent sapphire calendar discs upon rotating black backdrops.

We are pleased to offer this rare single-sealed Reference 5304R complete with a winding presentation box, accessories, and Certificate of Origin.
