To celebrate the 176^th Anniversary of Hermès, Jeager-LeCoultre and the esteemed Parisian luxury artisan collaborated to produce the present lot. Made in a limited edition of 176 pieces, each one takes the careful and skillful craftsmanship of expert glassblowers Les Cristallries de Saint-Louis. The finished product is an Atmos movement housed inside a two-layer glass dome accentuated by enamel shell revealing windows into the case. The effect, it is safe to say, is a mesmerizing one. The original retail price for this particular piece in 2013 was $30,000 USD.
