The Emergency watch was produced in the purpose of being a back-up survival instrument for pilots. The watch is equipped with a miniature radio transmitter to locate people in distress, this miniature radio transmitter broadcasts a signal on the international aviation distress frequency of 121.5MHz which is used by all rescue services. With the correct method of operation, the watch is capable of transmitting coordinates on two separate frequencies, allowing trapped or lost victims to be found and rescued.
