Interestingly, Taubert was also the case maker for other important Patek Philippe models such as reference 1463 and 96A.
The current watch cased in 18k yellow gold is from the first series of reference 565’s. featuring the caliber 12 120 with 18 jewels and features a silvered dial with attractive Breguet numerals. The watch is accompanied by its Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale on September 9, 1943
