Giovanni Maffezzoli (1776-1818) was a cabinet maker from Cremona active in Lombardia at the same period than Giuseppe Maggiolini. His production includes marquetry landscape incorporating architecture. A similar pair of commodes has been sold Sotheby’s Milan, 20th June 2006, lot 369.
