each with a rectangular uphostered backrest with serpentine rails, the top rail cebntered by flowerheads and carved all around with reeding intertwined by leaf tips, the padded armrest raised on voluted supports, the serpentine-fronted seat carved to match the back-rest and raised on cabriole legs carved at the knees with flowerheads and ending in leaf-carved scrolled toes ; covered with silk velvet imitating tiger's fur, by Maison Le Manach

Impressive model, large wide and deep and quite low. Very good carving. The structure is solid, the gilding is worn with extensive chips. The upholstery with wear but remain attractive with the Le Manach upholstery.
