A pale celadon jade 'scholars garden' group
Qing dynasty, 18th century
carved and pierced in high relief with a scholar seated on rockwork wearing a long robe, to his side sits a simple stone bench beneath craggy rocks issuing branches of fir, the stone of very pale celadon tone
Length 10 cm, 4 in.
