A pale celadon jade handled cup
Late Ming dynasty
晚明 青白玉雙耳杯
with deep rounded sides carved in low relief around the exterior with a continuous river landscape and two four-character inscriptions reading liu xi chao ming and tao hong juan mian, all divided by a pair of high relief prunus branch handles, the stone of very pale celadon-white tone
Width across handles 10.1 cm, 4 in.
