the ovoid body of quatrefoil section, rising to a broad shoulder and a tapered neck, each lobe finely carved with either prunus, lotus, peony or lily blossoms borne on slender, leafy stems, the shoulder set with four loop handles, the neck incised with double lines, the circular cover with a low central dome incised with stylized radiating petals and surmounted by a flattened knop, Japanese wood box (4)
