delicately potted with shallow rounded sides supported on a short tapered foot, meticulously decorated on the interior in brilliant enamels with peony, chrysanthemum and osmanthus blooms and buds borne on undulating leafy stems with two butterflies fluttering above a large peony bloom near the centre, the top right with a seven-character inscription flanked by three pink seal marks, the exterior similarly decorated with echoing designs, the base inscribed in blue enamel with a four-character mark within a double square
