the globular body set to one side with a handle carved as an archaistic 'biting' dragon and to the other with a short upturned spout, the body carved in low relief with a band of stylized kuilong scroll between rows of cicada lappets, all below a domed cover carved with pendent cicadas with an oblong knop incised with a leiwen band, the stone with a bright even tone and a high polish (2)


Width 6 ⅜ in., 16.2 cm

Overall in good condition. Scattered nicks to edges, mostly at rims. The inner rim of the cover with a natural shallow flaw. The stone with some natural icy and russet fissures and inclusions, mostly to sides and base.


整體品相良好,邊沿有磕痕,尤口沿。蓋沿內側帶天然淺瑕疵。玉料天然帶綹、含沁,尤側面及底。
