清十九世紀 青白玉雕花式洗


carved as a blossom with five furling petals, borne on a curling stem issuing thin leaves forming the handle, the reverse carved with a small butterfly, the even, translucent stone of pale grayish-celadon tone, wood stand (2)


Length 4 ½ in., 11.5 cm

Collection of Mrs. Walter N. Rothschild (1896-1987).

Gifted to the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, in 1963 (acc. no. 63.6.49).
