Tyrannosaurus rex
Late Cretaceous
Hell Creek FormationPowder River County, Powdersville, Montana, USA
Measuring 2 ½ inches in length (6.35 cm). Mounted on a custom stand. Though slightly worn, it displays nice colorization of yellow-brown to dark chocolate-brown.
Tyrannosaurus rex was the largest, most powerful carnivorous dinosaur of all time. Their teeth were very robust so that they would more effectively transmit the energy of impact into the body of their prey. This outstanding specimen has no restoration and is in excellent condition with good enamel coverage and well-preserved serrations running along both sides.
