41 inches from nose to tail, 46 1/2 x 15 inches in matrix; framed to 51 x 21 1/2 inches.


Each prehistoric shark species is most often represented by a single specimen. With some few exceptions, Lebanese fossil sharks are small compared to current forms, typically having a maximum length of around 20 inches; the present specimen is twice that size.
