painted in the Höroldt style with figures seated at low tables, the saucer with a dancing man tipping coins into a hat, between a stylised bird and children, within shaped gilt-scroll and luster cartouches issuing iron-red and purple leaf-scrolls, the borders with bands of scrolls, the interior of the teabowl with a flower spray, the underside of the saucer with iron-red concentric circles, painter's numerals 35. to both pieces
