4¾-inch dial with crown and crossed sceptre spandrels, matted centre with mock pendulum and date apertures, signed on a silvered boss in the arch Gam Voyce, London, the movement five knopped and ringed pillars, single fusee with verge escapement, pull quarter repeating on three bells, the foliate engraved backplate with wheatear border and signed in a cartouche as the dial, the case with inverted bell top, moulded base and later silvered presentation plaque
