Studio monitor used in the Grateful Dead and the Jerry Garcia Band rehearsal space


2x15 speaker cabinet (31 x 29 x 20”). Black-finished plywood.


A warehouse at 20 Front St. in San Rafael, California, known as “Le Club Front,” became the rehearsal and jamming space for the JGB in late 1976, or early 1977. A year later, it also became a rehearsal space, recording studio, clubhouse, and tape vault for the Dead.
