Pen and brown ink and wash over traces of black chalk, partially indented for transfer;

bears old attribution in brown ink, lower left: Tiepolo

297 by 215 mm; 11 3/4 by 8 1/2 in

Laid down on a sheet of paper and subsequently hinged to an old sheet of blue paper. There is an area to the upper right corner where the backing sheet is more visible and a small round repaired hole to the left of this. There is scattered foxing and minor staining and surface dirt throughout the sheet. The pen and wash remains in predominantly good condition throughout with the overall image strong. Sold unframed.
