In 2012, this is a glorious black fruit wine which denotes the ripeness of 2009 - sometimes, when it is red fruit, which I adore, it is a mite less ripe. In 2009, the Pinot Noir gained in alcohol in days and you had to dash in and pick, an effect of global warming. This is a really luscious, fall-into wine. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
