Calibre: gilded full plate, verge escapement with pierced and engraved double-screwed balance cock, fusee and chain, signed Pieter Kock, Haerlem

Case: putto surmount and urn finials above Cornithian-capped pillars, all sides inset with panels repoussé with rococo scrolls, trellis frets and Dutch rural scenes, on turned feet, the rear with concealed compartment containing ivory notepad and gilt mirror, knife, tweezers, pencil and watch key
