Two verge watches
Circa 1790
• Comprising: R. Quosig -unsigned gilt verge movement, decoratively pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation plate, fusee and chain, white enamel dial signed R. Quosig, Manheim, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, aperture for winding, gold case, the back centred with a garden scene in vari-colour gold, against a pink guilloché enamel ground, surrounded by an opaque blue enamel border, case stamped JBA beneath a crown • Jacob Schuh - gilt verge movement, decoratively pierced and engraved balance bridge, fusee and chain, silver regulation plate, signed Jacob Schuh, Hochdorff, white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, aperture for winding, silver case the back with applied vari-colour gold decoration

Movement: running at time of cataloguing.
Dial: with hairline cracks, damage and repairs to the edges and around winding aperture.
Case: enamel to case back is hard but rather thick and almost certainly restored. Thumb piece damaged and repaired.
