Taking the traditional watchmaking world by storm, Singer introduced a revolutionary way of apprehending the close relationship between racing and time. Singer Reimagined was created by Rob Dickinson, founder of Singer Vehicle and Marco Borraccino, an Italian watchmaker. They share a deep passion for car and watch production from the 1960's and 70's, which is reflected in the Singer creations. 

The Singer Track 1 Hong Kong Edition received well deserved recognition by winning the 2018 GPHG chronograph watch prize. 

The watch itself, inside and out, is a work of art. The ultra light barrel shape case is made of aluminium that has been DLC coated giving a black appearance. It offers exceptional resistance to wear, scratching and even corrosion. The pushers, located at 2 and 10 o'clock, are made of grade 5 titanium. 

The piece has optimal legibility, thanks to the strong contrasts between the black dial, white numerals, orange chronograph hand and tachymeter. The strap of the watch is made of a light and resistant technical sports textile, using the same colour scheme as the case and the dial. The strap is perforated with five brushed titanium rivets to complete the unique sporty and masculine look. 

Not only does the Track 1 Hong Kong Edition take inspiration from the golden era of car racing, it also offers a revolutionary way to display time and chronograph readings. 

Indeed, this watch is powered by the caliber AgenGraphe. The chronograph hours, minutes and seconds are indicated at the center of the watch for maximum readability. The time is shown by the two outer disks of the dial and read via the orange indicator at six o'clock.

The complex automatic column-wheel chronograph movement was developed with Agenhor and is comprised no less than of 477 parts. Unlike most of the automatic watches, the rotor has been integrated on to a plate under the dial. This allows the owner to fully admire the beautiful movement.

Rather than copying the past, Singer took inspiration from it while building an entirely new concept, something that has never been done before.

The Singer Track 1 Hong Kong Edition was produced as a limited edition of 50 pieces only. The present lot is in very attractive condition and comes with its original box and certificate. Previously the property of an important gentleman, it is a very rare and exciting opportunity to acquire one of the very best and most innovative chronograph watches of the last couple of decades.
