The Patek Philippe reference 5055 was produced for only 6 years, between 1998 and 2004. 


It is powered by the celebrated automatic movement with a microrotor calibre 240. 


This version is the cal. 240 PS IRM C LU was also used for the Nautilus 3712 and 5712.


PS stands for Petite Seconde (small seconds), IRM for Indication de la Reserve de Marche (power reserve indication), C for Calendrier (date) and LU for Lune (moon-phases). This beautiful movement can be admired through the sapphire display back. 


Rarely appearing at auction, the Ref. 5055 has a classic size with a twist thanks to the large flat bezel and straight lugs. 


The present example is further enhanced by being accompanied by its original accessories.
