2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the legendary 1966/67 season when Celtic, lead by Jock Stein, won the European Cup against the giants Inter Milan. The final took place in Lisbon and since the Glasgow club have been nicknamed the Lisbon Lions.
The anniversary was celebrated with many festivities. Celtic also commissioned a small group of personalized Rolex for some exclusive members of the club. Naturally, the Hulk was chosen thanks to its green dial and bezel, echoing the colours of the football club. The back of the watch is decorated with Celtic's emblem, a four leaf clover, which is surrounded by an engraving reading "The Celtic football club, 1888" and "Lisboa 50° aniversario".
Accompanied by its original Rolex guarantee and presentation case, this lot is a highly special and collectible version of the celebrated Hulk.
