Movement: size 18, frosted gilded full plate, lever escapement, 17 jewels, bi-metallic compensation balance, blued steel over-coil hairspring, signed and numbered Elgin Nat'l Watch Co., U.S.A., no. 9615468

Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, subsidiary seconds, dial centred with polychrome enamel painted arms 

Case: 14ct gold, polished covers, the front with applied monogram in green, pink and yellow gold beneath a stone-set crown, the back with applied coat of arms beneath a stone-set crown, hand-setting lever beneath bezel, plain polished gold cuvette, case and cuvette numbered 491995 and stamped ROY

The arms to the case back are Serbian. Interestingly, King Peter I of Serbia's reign began in June 1903, thereby corresponding closely with the date of production of the present watch.
