Breitling has been a long term chronograph specialist having played a key role in the technical development of the complication, including the inventing of the two independent pushers and by jointly presenting the first self-winding chronograph 1969.They’re electronic technical models are equipped with SuperQuartz™ movements that are not just more accurate than automatic pieces, but ten times more accurate than the standard quartz equivalents (+/- 5-10 seconds a year).
The Chronospace features a number of useful functions and features including special LCD display visible through night vision goggle, and including 1/100 of second chronograph, alarm, calendar, countdown timer, UTC time, and second timezone display. The alarm also features a double sectioned case back with “resonance chamber” that works to amplify the alarm sound to about 90 decibels.
