Description

Comprising: a brooch modelled as a leaf, set with pinkish pearls and rose-cut diamonds, French assay marks and indistinct maker's mark, 1890s; a ring vertically set with two pearls, to single-cut diamond shoulders, size O, French assay mark, early 20th century; a ring set with a bouton-shaped cultured pearl within a surround of cushion-shaped diamonds, size O; a pair of earrings each surmount set with a natural pearl, suspending a detachable natural pearl drop with rose-cut diamond cap, hook fittings, French assay mark; early 19th century; and a pendant designed as two rock crystal cabochons closing to form a sphere, 19th century.


Earrings with SSEF report no. 96709, dated 30th November 2017, stating that the four drop shaped, slightly baroque drop shaped and baroque drop shaped natural pearls measuring 4.45 x 4.70 x 6.30mm, 8.50 x 9.70 x 10.20mm, 4.75 x 5.35 x 7.00mm and 7.90 x 10.10 x 10.40mm, were found to be natural, saltwater.


Remaining pearls untested for natural origin.
