Sphalerite with Pyrite and Calcite
Osikovo Deposit, Septemvri Mine, Madan Ore Field, Rhodope Mountains, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria
Overall size 29.2 x 26.5 x 10.0 cm. Highly lustrous deep grey sphalerite accented with modified golden pyrite and a scattered overgrowth of colorless calcite rhombohedrons. The reverse nearly completely crystalized with additional calcite. With custom lucite base.
